Tancacha Foundation, community development in action.

A concrete sample of the company’s commitment is the supporting of a successful social project which directly benefits Tancacha´s community in Cordoba province, place where one of the Bunge´s industrial sites is located.

	The aim of Tancacha´s Foundation is to promote the common welfare and the social solidarity within the town. Tancacha´s Foundation was created in March 27th 1989 and it deals with social problems such as disability, deprived children and elderly people with financial trouble.

Tancacha Foundation is directly supported by Bunge Argentina who contributes more than 50% of the required funding.

The workshop is a place where differently able children and young people work to manufacture different products all related to the following activities: silk screen printing, book binding, and the production of: confetti, manila paper and envelopes, wrapping paper, paper brown bags and glue. These items are sold within the community.

This initiative is focused on achieving that differently able children and young people are better integrated socially and to create future employment opportunities for them.
